Refund policy

Urban Machine · 21 November 2026 · Last updated 29 September 2026

Draft — not yet approved by the organiser. These rules may change.

01Who this applies to

This policy covers tickets for Urban Machine, 21 November 2026, Colombo, bought on this website.

The event is organised by progressive.lk. We sell the tickets and we handle every refund. Card payments are processed by Onepay, our payment provider.

Tickets bought anywhere else, or from another person, are not covered. We cannot refund a ticket we did not sell.

02In short

Tickets are not refundable, except in the cases on this page.

There is no booking fee. When a refund is due, it is the full amount you paid for the ticket.

03If the event is cancelled

Every ticket is refunded in full. You do not need to ask.

We contact every buyer by email within 7 days of the cancellation, and the refund starts from then.

04If the event moves to a new date

Your ticket stays valid for the new date. You do not need to do anything.

If you cannot come on the new date, you can ask for a full refund. Ask within 7 days of the new date being announced. After that, the ticket stays valid for the new date only.

05Venue, lineup and time changes

These are not reasons for a refund:

  • A move to a different venue in Colombo.
  • A change to the lineup, the running order or set times. Artists are announced over time, and a set can change for reasons outside our control.
  • A change to the door time on the same date.

If the event moves outside Colombo, it is treated as a new date: you can ask for a refund within 7 days of the announcement.

06When there is no refund

  • You change your mind, or you cannot come.
  • You bought the wrong ticket type or the wrong number of tickets. Contact us before the event and we will try to help, but we cannot promise a refund.
  • You arrive after the doors close, or you leave early.
  • Your QR code was shared, and someone else used it first. One scan, one entry.

07If you are refused entry

The event is 21+. Bring a photo ID: your NIC, passport or driving licence.

We can refuse entry without a refund if you cannot show a valid ID, are under 21, are too drunk to enter safely, carry an item that is not allowed, or do not follow the instructions of the security or event staff.

08Payment problems

These are always refunded in full:

  • You were charged twice for the same order.
  • You were charged, but the tickets sold out before your payment finished, so no ticket was issued. We see this on our side and refund it without you asking.
  • You were charged, but the order failed and you have no ticket email. Contact us with the time and the amount of the payment first: often the ticket was issued and the email is in your spam folder.

09Transferring or reselling a ticket

To give your ticket to someone else, contact us at least 48 hours before the event with your order reference. We cancel the old QR code and send a new one to the new holder.

Tickets must not be resold for more than their price. A ticket that we find being resold for profit can be cancelled without a refund.

A ticket bought from another person is at your own risk. If the seller already used or shared the QR code, the first scan wins.

10How to ask for a refund

  • Contact us using the details at the end of this page.
  • Give your order reference (it starts with UM and is on your ticket email), the email you bought with, and the reason for the refund.
  • We reply within 3 working days and tell you if a refund is due.
  • If it is, we start the refund and email you when we do.

11How a refund is paid

Within 14 days of your payment: the refund goes back to the card you paid with, through Onepay. It is finished within 7 business days after we start it. Your bank may take a few more days to show it.

More than 14 days after your payment: card payments can no longer be reversed, so we send the refund by bank transfer. We ask you for an account in the name of the person who bought the ticket.

Refunds are paid in Sri Lankan rupees (LKR), for the amount you paid. We cannot cover fees your own bank charges for a foreign card.

12After a refund

Once an order is refunded, every ticket on it is cancelled. The QR code will not scan at the door, even if you saved it.

13Disputes with your bank

Please contact us before you open a dispute (a chargeback) with your bank. We can usually fix the problem faster.

If a dispute is opened, the tickets on that order are cancelled while it is open.

14Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the last change. The version on this page when you bought your ticket is the one that applies to your order.
